For my birthday in 2021, I got a cornhole set from my parents. On the boards was a corn-themed logo and the URL RayKorn.com.
I assumed they had ordered custom boards from a company, and I wanted to see what else that company offered.
There was no website.
They had just created the name and logo as part of the gift.
Because I tend to overthink things, I started worrying that someone else might eventually register the domain and turn it into something unrelated—or worse, something I didn’t want associated with my name.
So I bought the domain.
At first, it existed for no real reason other than to prevent someone else from taking it. Later, I started getting renewal emails from GoDaddy, logged in, picked a simple layout, and filled in the blanks. I chose the homepage image just because I liked it
That’s how this site became… this site.
